The DoD central epidemiological resource and a global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive health surveillance information. The mission is to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.
Location: Washintong DC Metro
Acts as the lead support and principal advisor on GHSA to the Agency Chief as well as to DHA and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. Collaborates with other DoD departments and the interagency on various GHSA committees and workgroups. Prepares information summaries, issue papers, and technical documents describing DoD global health activities that aligns with GHSA targets and objectives.
Minimum of Master’s degree in public health and 10 years of professional experience, 5 of which with the Department of Defense. Prefer Doctoral degree in public health and 10 years of professional experience, 5 of which with the Department of Defense.
