Senior Program Manager

The DoD central epidemiological resource and a global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive health surveillance information. The mission is to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.

Location: Washintong DC Metro

Responsabilities

Serves as primary interface between the Contractor and the Government. Ensures Contractor team successfully performs contractually required tasks in support of the mission. Performs coordination with the Government through the COR. May interface with the Government staff as needed to identify and track on-going task requirements and assignments to Contractor staff. Provides direction and oversight of all contractor and subcontractor staff. Is responsible for the performance of all work performed by contract staff. Has the full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. Supervises contract staff and creates performance standards and performance appraisals. Interacts with contract corporate office on contract and budget issues. Serves as the contract site coordinator for all contract actions. Responsible for informing the COR of personnel changes, plan for replacements. Prepares required documentation as required by contract human resources. Manages projects by developing plans, timelines and schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, Program Management Certification and ten years of experience with government contracting. Must possess an expert level of technical expertise, program management, and program control experience, as well as a functional command of contracting and acquisition policy, practices, procedures and terminology.
