Surveillance Standardization Coordinator (Part Time)

The DoD central epidemiological resource and a global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive health surveillance information. The mission is to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.

Location: Washintong DC Metro

Responsabilities

Identifies deficiencies and gaps in standardization among health surveillance systems and reporting processes. Assists in establishing and promoting standard case definitions, data elements, and reporting processes. Assists in determining the processes or methods to be used for establishing standardization and facilitate its establishment. Promotes incorporation of standards into existing and future health systems.

Qualifications

Clinical Provider (Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and MPH or MS Epi with 5+ years of clinical experience.
