Operations Coordinator

The DoD central epidemiological resource and a global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive health surveillance information. The mission is to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.

Responsabilities

Assists E&A Technical Lead and Senior Program Manager ensuring Contractor team successfully performs contract requirements. Provides program management and administrative support for the daily functions of E&A and its associated Satellite personnel. Manages personal calendars for Chief, E&A and Chief, Satellite Support. Coordinates documents for signature, filing and archiving. Screens, answers, and takes messages for phone calls and supports administrative travel needs for E&A personnel. Provides advice on workflow and operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity and makes recommendations for overall improvements to E&A processes and programs. Drafts and edits memorandums and other documents as needed by personnel. Develops and manages metric tracking and reporting procedures. Manages Preventive Medicine Resident schedules. Coordinates and schedules meetings; records and distributes meeting minutes; drafts and reports on weekly activities. Provides follows-up and informs personnel on expired data use agreements, required training, and other similar related items. Provides assistance with travel plans and documentation, drafts SOP updates. Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in project or program management. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint is required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
