The DoD central epidemiological resource and a global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive health surveillance information. The mission is to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.
Location: Washintong DC Metro
Collects, monitors, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes strategic information for the purpose of supporting surveillance program management efforts for the DoD and its articulation to higher headquarters. Serves as senior analyst for strategic program development, planning and/or execution, and DoD health policy support, with liaison duties for the proposal management cycle through the Geographic Combatant commands.
MPH or Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) with 5-years working in DoD Strategy development and MHS. This position will require a SECRET clearance.
