Epidemiologist

The DoD central epidemiological resource and a global health surveillance proponent for the U.S. Armed Forces provide timely, relevant, actionable, and comprehensive health surveillance information. The mission is to promote, maintain, and enhance the health of military and military-associated populations.

Location: Washintong DC Metro

Responsabilities

Collects, monitors, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes surveillance data for the purpose of supporting surveillance program management efforts for the DoD. Disseminates the results of analytical studies via technical reports, briefings, presentations, manuscripts, websites and other media based on target audiences based on the guidance of senior team members.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in public health or related biosurveillance discipline and minimum of 4 years public health experience.
